Shooter Make Ready Laser Targets
Experience dynamic, responsive dry fire training with our advanced laser target system.
Practice shooting in the comfort of your own home, anytime and as often as you like.
Imagine having laser targets that simulate steel plates, poppers, and silhouettes. Targets that show your hits as you shoot, and clang with the gratifying sound of 9mm striking steel. Targets that wirelessly send your hits to the Shooter Make Ready app on your smartphone or tablet so you can actually see and evaluate your speed and accuracy.
Shooter Make Ready targets feature a 16×16 red pixel LED matrix that displays bright, high-visibility target patterns and instantly registers hits the moment they occur. The 2.5-inch display packs a high-density LED array powered by our patented technology for exceptional accuracy and responsiveness.

Each target includes a built-in rechargeable battery that delivers up to 16 hours of continuous use on a single charge. Recharge easily using our USB 2-port Target Charging Kit (sold separately).
U.S. Patent No. 10,895,435
Laser Compatibility
Our laser targets are sensitive to lasers having a wavelength in the range of 520nm (green) to 640nm (red).

The green laser used in the Mantis Blackbeard(X) and both the red and green lasers used in NextLevel Training SIRT training pistols are fully compatible.
The red laser used in the Mantis Blackbeard(X) operates at 650nm which falls outside the target sensitivity range, and is not compatible.
Check with the manufacturer of your laser training device to confirm the laser wavelength is in the range of 520nm to 640nm to ensure compatibility.
For best performance, the laser should emit a pulse between 40ms and 100ms with each trigger pull. Most laser cartridges and inserts fall within this range. The optimal pulse duration is between 40ms and 60ms, ensuring one-shot-one-hit performance.
Target Placement
With a 2.5 square inch surface, Shooter Make Ready targets can be placed at a reduced distance to simulate a larger target at longer range. The placement distance is proportional to the actual distance and target size you want to simulate.
You can calculate the appropriate placement distance using the formula:
Placement Distance = Actual Distance / ( Target Size / 2.5″ )
Example: To simulate shooting at a 10″ steel plate from 32 feet away using a 2.5″ target:
Placement Distance = 32 ft / (10″ / 2.5″) = 8 ft
So placing the target 8 feet away would simulate a 10″ target at 32 feet.
Unlike camera or video-based systems, Shooter Make Ready gives you the freedom to position multiple targets in a full 360° radius around the shooter. Set up targets at varying angles, elevations, and distances – beyond 50 feet – to create realistic, dynamic training environments. You can even place targets in separate rooms to simulate movement-based scenarios that other systems simply can’t support.

Target Power
Shooter Make Ready laser targets deliver up to 16 hours of continuous use on a single charge. When it’s time to recharge, just connect the target to a USB wall charger using a Mini-USB cable and you’ll be back to full power in less than an hour. Our Target Charging Kit includes a USB 2-port wall charger and two Mini-USB cables.
Each target includes a recessed power switch, allowing you to power it down between sessions and extend battery life over many days.
Target Charging Kit Sold Separately
The Target Charging Kit is sold as an optional accessory and not bundled with each target.
Why?
Many of our customers already own USB chargers and cables, and told us they’d prefer to avoid paying for extras they don’t need. Also, since most customers buy multiple targets, it makes more sense – and saves you money – not to include a separate charger and cable with every unit.
Don’t forget our SIRT OneShot module for best performance with our targets and your SIRT 110 (Glock). One shot, one hit!

What a great setup. These four targets allow me to work on not only fundamentals – but also decision making in the friend or foe mode. My dry fire is much more fun that a light switch – but also varied by all the drills I can set up and do. Fun. Challenging. And translates to my Defensive Training with live fire. Picking up some more to add some complexity in 370 degrees and multiple rooms. What a great product!!

I bought the two pack in order to work on target transitions. Combined with a SIRT 110 and the SIRT OneShot this makes a great training kit for at home and on the road. Currently saving up to buy 2 more.

I bought the Shooter Make Ready system and five targets after seeing it at the NRA Convention. It is easy to set up and use, and I configure it for practice for Steel Challenge and USPSA. I also occasionally bring it to work and we use it in the office! It gives me an easy to use dry fire solution with feedback and is a valuable part of my training. I highly recommend it.

I already owned 2 different laser training system and really wanted to try this one. Well I am very glad I did, because this is really a great system. The targets quality is incredible and the technology used is very clever (using the leds as light sensors) and have proved to work very reliably even during daylight in a well lighten room. Setup is very easy, connection with the app is instant (thanks bluetooh low energy).
At first I was very surprised by the relatively small size for the targets but after some use I think this is the right choice. You can carry them everywhere and you can just adjust the distance to them to fit your requirements.
The different app training modes are really great. There are still room for improvements for some details (save best times for example, automatically chain stages without tapping the screen) but I heard this is being working on and I am confident we will see these features in a future version.
I do not own a SIRT training pistol but a similar lesser known chinese competitor brand. Also for those wondering, the laser ammo surestrike does not work with these targets. I hope Accelerated Firearm Training will make a compatible laser kit for Airsoft pistols so that I can train with a blowback replica of my real gun (STI 2011).
For those living outside the USA you can order through myus.com for example, it worked great for me.
TLDR; Accelerated Firearm Training targets are REALLY GREAT!

It took a while to pen this review properly, since we collected so many opinions from friends & family that were “curious” about it – as it appeared small, mysterious, and odd on the wall / stands.
At first, the product itself was met with a slight air of muted excitement – as it is small (which is great), and the app itself was initially not easy to pick up. However, once we showed others how to use the app, everyone began to notice what settings they could tweak to generate a certain competitive game mode and drill into what they WANT to work on. As Einstein said, “Any darn fool can make something complex; it takes a genius to make something simple” – and the designer of this certain exudes an air of genius (and if he / she is too humble to admit it, well, an awesome innovator) This product looks so simple, and muted, for what it can do – and the challenges it brings that reveals bad habits / opportunities of improvement.
The features you can tweak to build a drill brings out the beauty of the discipline in pistol craft, and we found this helped new shooters appreciate “plinking” as a disciplined sport over projector drills (which made them think shooting was “just like a video game” – they just couldn’t shake off that “veil”).
Depth perception training, visual processing training, all other shooting drills, reload mechanics for “on target” counts, and etc – everyone preferred it over project type shooting drills. For our phones, most people were able to reliably connect 7, whereas 8+ above would sometimes lose connections / a target would freeze. 7 is more than enough really for a proper drill. We also equipped all our SIRT 110’s with OneShots (which are working well), and always run two “sets” in parallel to create two active lanes.
One mode that really stood out for our new plinkers was the REACT mode with audio cues turned off. The no delay “chase” made individuals virtually hooked on gaining seconds, then honing to grab those miliseconds.
This got my wife and her friends interested enough to start buying their own belts and holsters, so it’s a win all around. This beats LaserAmmo, LaserLyte targets and etc – and even though we have some of these old targets, SMR targets are so light and portable – it’s easy to take everywhere to share so it’s worth it to just “move on”.

I am preparing for my first IDPA competition and have found these electronic targets crucial to my training. I have used other systems where one has to place their cellular device facing paper targets. The problem with these systems is that one must put the cell phone in just the right place for the targets to register. These targets can be set up quickly, and I can place them all over my house. Also, these targets from Accelerated Firearm Training allow me to practice at longer distances in my house, such as 12 yards. Pairing the targets with a SIRT, the ONE-shot mod to the SIRT, and Mantis X Elite, I have gone from virtually no training [averaging 100 dry fire rounds] to 500 and 1500 dry fire rounds daily. The targets also work splendidly with the Black Beard green laser. I can practice rifle-to-pistol transitions. The Friend or Foe simulation is my favorite. The customer service from Accelerated Firearm Training is the best in the industry. I am awaiting a special laser to pair with my Dry Fire Mag with a laser to register with these targets. With six targets placed around my house, I am confident I will reach my goals as a future IDPA competitor.
